After a career as a fundraising writer for humanitarian organizations, Krista has returned to her first creative passion, writing fiction for kids. Like so many others, she has a crate of embarrassing childhood manuscripts, including an award-winning poem about a melodramatic doorknob.
Today, Krista writes about issues close to her heart: adoption, loss, found family, and love, always with humor and heart.
Krista is currently querying her upper middle grade coming of age novel, Call Me Gracie.
